The Tech Crew of the TGRC builds the sets, hangs the lights, plays the music and sound effects, provides the costumes and props, and sets the stage. We're the people behind the curtain.
We're always looking for people to help - before, during, and after the performances. We meet at The Warehouse most Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., to build the sets and some of the props. On occasion, we'll get EVERYBODY together for a set painting blitz. One week before opening is generally Load-In, when all the set pieces, lights, and props are put into place in the theatre. This is an “all hands on deck” event and marks the transition from the Warehouse to the Theatre. The work is rewarding and fun. No special skills or creativity are required, just an interest in working with your hands.
