Box Office Policies and Procedures
The box office is open at various times throughout the run of a show and 45 minutes prior to each performance. The times will be posted on the website and the ticket line for each show. The Director of House Management or a Designee will also make every effort to attend a practice time when the majority of cast is available to conduct ticket presales prior to the opening of general sales. Adult tickets are $15, child/youth tickets are $10, and student tickets are $10 (with valid student id). All ticket prices include credit card fees and the NC tax on admission charges (including non profits).
All tickets may be charged to a credit card or paid for with a check/cash at the window. Ticket vouchers may also be used to pay for tickets both online and at the door.
Reserved seating requests generally begin 2-4 weeks prior to a show and is determined by the size and publicity of the individual show. Exact times for each show will be posted both on the ticket line and on the website.
Reserved tickets are only available on a prepaid basis. You may prepay for your reserved ticket using cash, check, credit/debit card, or by using a ticket voucher. Prepaid ticket sales are final and no cash/credit card refunds can be given, nor can season ticket holders receive credit back for vouchers used to purchase prepaid tickets. Unable to Use Your Tickets?
We realize conflicts can arise at any time, but TGRC does not offer refunds. You may return your unused tickets at least 24 hours in advance of the performance date to receive a receipt for a tax-deductible donation.
Cameras, Recording Equipment, Cellular Phones, and Pagers
The use of flash cameras, recording equipment, cellular phones, or pagers is strictly prohibited in the theatre.
Parents, please leave your seat numbers with your babysitter. If they need to reach you during the performance we will do our best. We do not interrupt the performance to page people for phone calls.
Bad Weather Policy
It is the policy of TGRC not to cancel performances due to bad weather. As a result, we urge our ticket holders to make every effort to attend the performance for which they hold tickets. Should this prove impossible, please call the box office as soon as possible before the performance and alternative arrangements will be made when possible. We cannot guarantee that seating will be available for an alternate performance. There are no refunds for bad weather.
Babies and Small Children
All patrons, including children and infants, must have a ticket in order to be admitted. If a child cries or becomes vocal during a show, parents are asked to immediately accompany the child from the theatre to minimize the distraction for both performers and other patrons. House management may ask patrons (including children and their parents) who create a disturbance to leave the theatre. There are no refunds or exchanges for patrons who are asked to leave the theatre.
Late Seating Policy
We strive to begin our performances on time. If you arrive after the scheduled curtain time, you’ll normally find that the performance has begun. If you arrive after the play has started, you’ll be seated at the designated late seating break. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip so you arrive in time for curtain. Payment is required for advanced ticket sales. Payment can be made by using debit/credit card or your season pass number.
