There is no better way to celebrate America than with beautiful, patriotic music — from America’s favorite anthems to poignant and uplifting

original compositions. We the People, the Musical asks the question, “What does America mean to you?” Through a series of sketches and

songs, this show shows not only how the Constitution applies to our past, but also to our present and future. Everyday life is showcased in

both funny and touching vignettes, offering a variety of moods as it explores the deeper meanings of the language of the Constitution.

This Norman Rockwellesque review offers slices of life in America. Picnics... tributes to the military... letters home from war...

all become part of this patchwork quilt of American life.

First Company Meeting - Monday, September 26 at 7:00 pm

Our first Company Meeting will be this Monday, September 26 at 7:00 pm at Rockingham Community College. We will take care of a lot of business at this meeting so be prepared for the following:

- Please bring $10 to pay for your script. You will be able to keep your script from this production. Family members may share if they choose.

- We ask that all cast members donate $5 to our Encore Café budget for each show.

- We will order t-shirts for We the People with the names of the cast members on the back. This is not mandatory. If you would like a shirt, please be prepared to order them at the company meeting. You can pay at the Company Meeting or pay later. The cost for t-shirts is $15 for regular sizes and $17 for 2X or larger.

- We will be taking "Headshots" (pictures) at the Company Meeting. We ask all cast members and staff members to wear a solid jewel tone top with NO writing or designs. A bright color will help your picture stand out!

-We will also be doing a read through of the show.
